Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Planet Plumbing & Drain has enacted increased safety protocols to ensure our customer’s and employee’s safety and health.

Coronavirus Safety Solutions

Planet Plumbing & Drain has you covered with Coronavirus safe plumbing solutions for your protection, and peace of mind.

Sanitary Plumbing Technicians

Plumbing techs service many homes and businesses. To increase your safety, extra precautionary measures are being taken to ensure our techs arrive fresh, clean, and sterile. Our plumbing techs have been thoroughly trained to sanitize before arriving at your home or business, while performing the job, and after leaving your property.
Our technicians are required to wear masks, gloves, and use hand sanitizers. On customer request, our techs will wear respirator masks, shoe covers, and sanitary suits.

Screening for At Risk Individuals

We are making sure to ask customers before we arrive if extra precautions should be taken because there are household members that are at higher risk due to COVID-19. These include people over 60, particularly those over 80, and people who have chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, heart, lung, kidney disease, or compromised immune systems. When scheduling plumbing service with us, please make sure to inform us if there are at risk individuals in your home.

Social Distancing

During normal life conditions, our service plumbers would enjoy friendly chat and handshakes with our customers. With Coronavirus, our techs will keep an increased distance between themselves and customers to six feet or more ensuring that you and our employees reduce the chances of spreading or contracting COVID-19.

Sanitized Work Areas

When done with your plumbing project, our plumbers will make certain to clean all work areas thoroughly, and you will be allowed to inspect the work areas after the job is completed to make sure it has been sanitized to your satisfaction.

Only Healthy Employees On the Job

Our policy has always been to excuse employees from work if they are feeling ill, and not to send plumbing techs out on jobs when they are sick.

Customer Special Requests

If you have special requests that will make you feel more safe and comfortable when having a service technician at your home for plumbing service, we can accommodate your needs. Please inform us of any special requirements you have.
