Sink Installation in Boulder
Sink Replacement With Every Plumbing Connection in Mind
A new sink has to fit more than the available space. It must match the countertop or cabinet opening, mounting style, faucet layout, drain location, and surrounding clearance. Customers often contact us during a remodel, after a basin cracks or corrodes, or when recurring leaks make replacement more practical than another repair.
Our sink installation service can include removing the existing fixture, checking the opening, connecting the water supply and drain assembly, and reconnecting the faucet or garbage disposal when applicable. We also test the completed connections for leaks and proper drainage.

Sink Options for Kitchens, Bathrooms, & Workspaces
Mounting style, bowl layout, and material can affect the required support, available workspace, and plumbing connections. The right configuration depends on the existing opening, cabinetry, intended use, and surrounding fixtures.
Common sink installation options include:
- Kitchen sinks: Top-mount, undermount, and apron-front sinks with single-bowl, double-bowl, or offset-bowl layouts
- Bathroom sinks: Pedestal, drop-in, undermount, vessel, and vanity-mounted fixtures
- Sink materials: Stainless steel, cast iron, composite, and other materials suited to the installation area
- Commercial and industrial sinks: Fixtures selected according to usage demands, workspace layout, clearances, drainage capacity, and operational needs
What We Check Before Installing a Sink
Before work begins, we compare the selected fixture with the countertop opening, cabinet dimensions, mounting method, bowl depth, faucet-hole layout, and drain position. An apron-front or deep-bowl sink, for example, may require more cabinet clearance than a standard top-mount model.
Removing an old fixture can reveal worn shutoff valves, supply lines, strainers, drain fittings, or disposal connections. The P-trap, which is the curved section of drainpipe beneath the sink, may also need attention if its position or condition isn’t compatible with the replacement.
We also consider nearby dishwashers, garbage disposals, storage areas, and future access to plumbing connections. After assessing the existing setup, we explain which connected components are part of the installation before work proceeds.
